My experience with Illustrator has actually been really easy. I´m understanding the tools and doing my work efficiently, plus its kind of fun. So far we are still in digital design and animation working with Illustrator, we have been in 2D graphics for a while now too. All assignments we have done so far have not been trouble and i think its because of the tools and how we got to play a game teaching us the tools before we moved into Illustrator. The only hard thing on Illustrator for me is combining shapes, when i put a shape on top of another its just the next step. Mr. B has showed me many times but he has also done it for me so instead of me doing it he does it. Illustrator can get tricky when your trying to change the angle of a shape like a half circle, it will only let you change the size, width, and length of the circle without a special technique or something like that. Overall Illustrator is a great application with a lot of good resources to help. If i were to compare this to photo shop i would say they are nothing alike except for the tool. I would say that Illustrator in my opinion is way better because i understand the tools to it and i just feel like photo shop involves a lot more experience to know how to really work with it. We just jumped right in with photo shop, With Illustrator he gave us time to understand the application and get the feel of it. But anyway this was my experience with Illustrator so far
